IFAJ elects Magda du Toit as Treasurer on the 2024-2026 Presidium

Magda du Toit, former chairperson of the Agricultural Writers SA and currently IFAJ representative, has made history recently by being the first South African elected on the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) presidium. She will be serving as treasurer.

Magda currently serves as the IFAJ representative for South Africa and also heads up the Host Country Liaison committee on the IFAJ. Magda currently is the deputy chairperson for Agricultural Writers SA North and was also recently appointed as the chairperson of South African organising committee for the 2027 IFAJ World Congress to be held in South Africa for the third time.
