Case IH invites all members of Agricultural Writers to submit any content piece pertaining to technology, data and the application thereof in the context of mechanisation on the farm. The purpose of this award is to incentivise journalists to do a deep dive into the technological advancements, precision and data – the technology in the machines, the technology onthe machines, and the technology around the machines, to learn and to gain knowledge of the intricacies of these technologies and how it can benefit farmers.
- The entry must pertain to technology related to (included, fitted to, or linked to) wholegoods (tractors, harvesters, planters, sprayers, implements, etc.).
- The entry can focus on any one manufacturer/brand, or a combination of manufacturers.
- Promotional content pieces are not eligible.
- Content pieces published/broadcast/distributed for the period 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2026 will be eligible.
- Entries can include print articles, interviews, broadcast pieces (television/radio), digital pieces and social media. Audio-visual material must please be submitted as a YouTube link.
- One content piece per entry allowed. If the content piece forms part of a series, one content piece must be selected to be entered.
- The winner will receive a prize of R10,000 from Case IH.
- Entries close 5 November at 12h00. No late entries will be considered.
- A panel of judges comprising of representatives of the Agricultural Writers SA, Case IH, CNH as well as an external role player in the agricultural sector will choose a winner.
- The winner of the award will be announced at the Agricultural Writers SA award function.
